Canadian Forces back at Winterlude for 5th year
For the fifth year in a row, Canadian Forces will be showcasing their talents and equipment at Winterlude.
Members from 8 Wing, based in Trenton; 3rd Canadian Ranger Patrol Group, from northern Ontario; and HMCS Carleton, based in Ottawa will join other forces personelle in putting on the winter obstacle course, giving tips for winter survival, and introducing Canadians to the equipment they use to survive harsh arctic conditions.
Juno, the Army mascot will also be on hand to encourage kids willing to take on the survival course.
The military display will take place at Jacques Cartier Park across the river in Gatineau, joining Snowflake Kingdom, one of Winterlude’s biggest draws for kids and young families.
